Works at the Duggan Sisters, Old Mallow Road, which commenced in 2023 are now complete. This is a turnkey development for Cork City Council, which consists of 54 housing units. There is a mixture of apartments, duplex’s, terraced and semi detached houses. The variety of housing unit types offers 1, 2, 3 & 4 bed units.

Enabling Works have commenced at St. Kevin’s Cork

Murnane & O’Shea Ltd, as Main Contractor are delighted to have commenced the Enabling works at St. Kevin’s Hospital.

This Enabling Works contract comprises the following;

  • Demolition of existing non-protected structures
  • Excavation & disposal of invasive alien plant species from site
  • Removal of trees and installation of tree protection measures
  • Installation of permanent and temporary boundary treatment

Lord Mayor Cllr Joe Kavanagh Tree Planting Ceremony on Carbery Grove, Knocknaheeny

The tree was planted by The Lord Mayor Cllr Joe Kavanagh and Cork City Council. Also in attendance were Cllr Kenneth Collins,  Cllr. Tony Fitzgerald Cllr. Mick Nugent – Sinn Féin Chorcaí and Thomas Gould TD, Murnane & O’Shea Limited and the Children from St. Mary’s on the Hill National School

 

 

SuperValu – Civils Works

Murnane & O’Shea Limited have commenced Civils Works to the Car Park adjacent to SuperValu.  Works will include the resurfacing of the existing car park at Reenrour West, Bantry. The proposed works also includes ancillary works involving drainage, line-marking and landscaping.

New Respite Facility and Children’s Services for Enable Ireland

The development comprises the construction of a single storey Respite House, associated ancillary accommodation and site boundary treatment together with change of use of the existing building (former all-purpose Hall) to new use as Enable Ireland Services Building for Children and Adult Service users with physical disabilities containing offices, meeting rooms, staff accommodation, conference facilities, treatment rooms, hydrotherapy pool, pre-school and all associated ancillary accommodation.

NorthWest Generation Project is progressing

Works at the North West Quarter Regeneration {Phase 2A}, Knocknaheeney, Cork which had commenced in June 2018, are well underway.  To date the construction for the first 11 nr. 3 storey houses are up to first floor level with the apartments commenced and utility services and traffic realignment completed for what is required at present.

Pilz Ireland

The Pilz Ireland project entails the demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a 2 & 3 storey office/technology building linking to the clients existing premises totalling 25,000 ft2 to accommodate their Software Product Research and Development Centre.
