University College Cork – Works Commence
Monday, August 30th, 2010Murnane & O’Shea Ltd. are delighted to announce that contracts have been signed with University College Cork for the proposed works to the existing Aras Na Laoi Building. Works will include the internal refurbishment and decoration of the existing Law Department lecture theatre on the ground floor with new electrical installation. Accessibility upgrade works comprising of external ramps and paths. Internal reconfiguration works to offices, lecture rooms etc.

Monday, July 5th, 2010Works have just completed on the Deli/Bakery area of Garvey’s SuperValu in Listowel, Co. Kerry. Internal refurbishment works included a complete revamp of the existing food preparation area, new electrical installation works and decoration. The project was delivered on time and on budget.

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010Murnane & O’Shea Ltd., are now registered contractors on the SEAI Registrered List of Contractors under the Home Energy Saving Scheme. This scheme provides assistance from the SEAI by way of fixed grants towards the costs of implementing upgrade measures. The types of measures currently elegible under this scheme are roof insulation, wall insulation, high efficiency boilers and heating control upgrades. Further information is available on www.seai.ie
New Residential Units for the COPE Foundation

Thursday, February 25th, 2010Murnane & O’Shea Ltd., have completed refurbishment works at the Lidl Branch in Skibbereen, Co. Cork. External works included resurfacing and re-lining of the existing carpark, repairing and cleaning of gullies and downpipes and installion of new bin cage at delivery area. Internal works included painting, brickwork repairs, floor and wall tiling, pest proofing, BUC crash protection, insulation, new sanitary ware and canteen services.

St. Matthews Church – Conservation Works
Thursday, February 25th, 2010Murnane & O’Shea Ltd. in association with Jack Coughlan Associates & The Fanlobbus Union of Parishes began works on St. Matthews Church, Drimoleague. Works included roof slating and associated roof repair works. This Church is a protected structure (RPS. No. 00963). Works began in January 2010 and should be completed for March 2010.
