Description:

This project consisted of the provision of 13 no. 2mw wind turbines and the provision of 18 kilometres
of underground ducting along national primary and secondary routes. Works also included the
co-ordination of the turbine installation and electrical works.

Main features:
Works included the provision of 5 kilometres of temporary roads to access the turbine positions
over difficult terrain requiring a total of 30,000 m3 of stone filling.

Construction of circular turbine
bases each containing 280 m3 of concrete. Provision of 18 kilometres of underground ducting
across national primary and secondary routes. Co-ordination of the turbine installer works with
both the electrical contractor and ESBI and ESBN.
